<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">"Scripta Soli" (“The writings of the earth”) is a thematic album for integrated techniques & field recordings. 2011-2017. Musicians: Vladimír Hirsch - electronic keyboards, synthesizers, samplers, pianos, digital technologies, field recordings, spoken word; Nadya Feir - vocals, Dominika Karčovská - vocals (soprano), production by Tom Saivon. The album is based on a fictive experience during apocalyptic war catastrophe, perceived from the position of a person imprisoned in the bunker. In epic form, it consists in descriptions of his feelings, memories, fears, visions and expectation of inevitable in echoes of devastating actions on the surface, as though, all sonically interpretated by the ground. Musical idea and rendition of the figurative opus is carried out as "musique concrète intergrée" by the work with field recordings, electroacoustic and digital techniques through metamorphic musicalization of primarily non-musical elements, typical for the musician, in case of this album as an essential manner. Dark-electronic / industrial metal album, where thrash-metallic riffs and guitar structures are linked to electronic elements embedded in dark-ambient structures, with critical or sarcastic lyrics. Collection of songs compiled from tracks, intended originally for the album Anacreontics with a more prominent role of solo singing and spoken word, which largely represents Hirsch's cooperation with the Dutch singer and songwriter Nadya Feir.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
The album contains two thematically similar works, original version of the battle Mass Missa Armata (English translation: "Mass in Armor") and Invocationes, a cycle of musical prayers. Both works belong to the larger main directional scope of Vladimír Hirsch's creative perimeter. In a musical context, they represent the confrontational nature of his music. The character of rites is the main axis of both compositions. As such, both projects fit naturally together.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The composition "Missa Armata" (1999) is based on standard liturgical elements, except the final track "Exodus." and the cycle "Invocationes" (2001). The composition is very strict and uncompromising, demonstrating a highly structured industrial sound combined with classical instrumentation and choirs, achingly electrifying noises and power-electronic force and energy.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Invocationes (2001) is a cycle of 4 ritualistic musical prayers. The project is - both thematically and in means of expression - significantly related to Missa Armata, but the overall character structurally aims more towards dark ambient. Compositions have a deep ambience with immersive emotional perceptions, without sparing any intensity and urgency. The composition is an introspective journey inside a tempestous and submerged world together.</div>

<span style="text-align: justify;">Conceptual album for pianos and integrated techniques, op.70, in rearranged and remastered version, originally created in 2004 under the name "Hermeneutic Cycle". An extensive contemporary classical musical framework, keeping all typical attributes of integrated compositional techniques, based on electroacoustic and digital sound manipulation of classical instrumentation. The theme of the album constitutes a fictive thymogenic sound-surgical intervention of the brain to manipulate the emotions through a synthetic bridge, transferring artificial particles in substitution of natural structures of the sound tissue.</span><br />

<span style="text-align: justify;">Conceptual album, 2009-2010. Adaptation of the soundtrack to the stage play “Markéta, dcera Lazarova”, a romantic drama, based on Vladislav Vančura's epic novel. The music – contemporary classical in its base, with an industrial and dark ambient tint - flows from sacred choral motifs and sorrowful violins surrounded by calm ambience through moments of pain and inner tension to dramatic eruptions of passion, violence and victorious hunts of percussion, clanging metal, flightly and nervous pianos, disturbing string inputs and ostinato, ominous rhythms with rich structuralized sound. Intense, religious and carefully constructed leaving no loose ends.</span><br />

"Nonterra" album came into being in 2004 as suite in the spirit of integrated music focusing on confrontation of spiritual and materialistic world, traditional for the composer. Themes of modern classical and dark ambient clash with periodically repeating elements of fashionable trends of music and attack their rhythms, structures and melodies, becoming their inner destructive agent and challenge of the conventional taste. <div>
<span style="text-align: justify;">"Underlying Scapes" is an extensive dark-ambient album with original name "De regionibvs liminis" (2003), devoted to the theme of subliminal sensual perception and its fictive musical applicaiton. An abstract conception of the confrontation between the surreal and real world (artificial ambient versus realistic industrial sound). The meditative character of the compositions is brightened by discharges of a kind of radioactive irradiation, representing the fleeing moments of understanding. The composer aims for purity of expressive means in an effort to accentuate the role of the primarily suppressed and ignored spiritual dimension of our world, while pointing to the importance of the liminal “structures” of our perception. The album is the constituent part of the box only.</span><br />

Conceptual album. 2000-2008. Musicians: Vladimír Hirsch - synthesizers, digital technique, mix, vocal, Martina Sanollová - vocal, Tom Saivon - lyrics, production. Originally instrumental album, re-worked as fully conceptual title of the band. Project eclectically closes the whole work of Skrol, revisiting original tracks of instrumental version and also presents some of unreleased or previously unfinished compositions in new versions. The album represents action potential of the band, oscilating between modern classical music, ritual and martial industrial. It is fully mature, thematically and compositionally compact and the sound is influenced by contemporary solo works of Vladimír Hirsch.</div>

"Contemplatio per nexus" for integrated techniques is an extent work of polymodal atchitecture, on philosophical-teological theme, based on the writing "Teologia spiritualis mystica", dealing with the process of transformation of human mind during mystical contemplation. Sound characteristics oscillate from the border of subconsciousness to excruciating strenght. Intense musical dialogue between space and detail, a description of the fight and reconcilliation of intrinsic and extrinsic, real and surreal world.</div>

Revisited "Symphony" No.4 in live ferfomance. Probably the most important work of the composer. Musicians: Czech integrated ensemble and choir, conducted by author. Soloists: Vladimír Hirsch-pianos, electronic keyboards, programming, Martina Sanollová - mezzo-soprano, Dominika Karčovská - soprano vocals. Thematic opus, where the author is trying to create a deeply immersed, painful perception here, dominated by uncertainty and doubt, but through the belief in spiritual strength inclined to hope and strife for the fulfilling of the faith’s thesis. In expressive terms the work combines expressive means ranging from symphonic to noise, in a totality which up to now represents the author’s concept of the so-called integrated musical form the best. Recorded partially live at „Luminiscence Evening“, ČKD Hall in Karlín, Prague, November 18, 2008, rearranged, and remixed at CatchArrow Recordings studio, Prague, Czechia.</div>

Conceptual, dark ambient-neoclassical album for integrated techniques. Rewritten, restructuralized, rearranged and remixed collection of scenic works, created between 1994 and 2003, in 2006 adapted as fully conceptual album. The album represents author´s typical consistent, achingly nervous harmonic structures with rich inner life and articulation, corresponding with mighty sounds of orchestration in original arrangement. It implements emphatic components of solo and choral vocals arranged systematically amongst primarily unordered particulars.</div>

A monolithic work (1999-2006) with further evolution in the characteristics of composition style towards more complicated inner articulation of music pieces, whose structure oscillates between tense or martial elements and music imagination of all absorbing ungraspable space, demonstrating an existential dialog between inner weight of physical reality and apparent admiration of immeasurable atributes of spirituality.</div>

<span style="text-align: justify;">Symphony for integrated orchestra and choir, composed between 2001-2005, with the subtitle "Descent From The Cross". Thematic opus, inspired originally by Dostoevski’s interpretation of Hans Holbein's painting of same name. The atmosphere is a deeply immersive and sharply painful, with a tragic mpact at the beginning, yet intimate inclination to hope in the end of the work. The album combines expressive means ranging from symphonic to noise, but attains unity and a fully homogenous structure. performed by Czech Integrated Ensemble & Choir, Vladimír Hirsch and soloists Martina Sanollová and Dominika Karčovská.</span><br />

<span style="text-align: justify;">Conceptual album. 2007. Vladimír Hirsch – composition, all instruments, electronics, programming, mix, Kenji Siratori – lyrics, voice. Album in cosmogonic Wide open space, but replete of dense and compressed atmosphere, microtonality and intense insight into amorphic harmonic structures. This is one of Vladimír Hirsch’s albums working with the theme of the dialogue between space and detail, cosmos and human. The parallel vertically and horizontally organized chaotic atonal melodic elements contrast with the slow, heavy rhythmical patterns and monotonic and emotionally plain expression of the spoken word of Japanese cyber-punk writer Kenji Siratori’s lyrics. The Japanese text is highly experimental, uncompromising, and intense, written in a style that not only breaks with tradition, but severs all cords with it, embracing the mayhem of the digital age.</span><br />
